An update on Lakers Legend And NBA Icon Kobe Bryant aged 41 who passed away on 26th Jan in a helicopter crash in Calabasis California alongside his daughter Gianna aged 13 and 7 other victims as they travelled to Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, to attend a Youth Basket Ball Tournament.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner Coroner’s report, it was announced last week that Kobe Bryant and the other 8 victims were officially identified, in their latest report a few hours ago it mentioned that all of the 9 bodies of the victims were released to their families.
CNN Reported the cause of death: “Blunt force trauma, and the manner of death was certified as an accident” The (NTSB) National Transportation Safety Board is still investigating, after collecting evidence from the scene of the crash, the weather being a key factor, but they are trying to determine the cause of the crash. The Preliminary report on the crash will be announced in a few days, but the final report is expected in a years time.
Memorial Of John, Keri And Alyssa Albotelli – 10th February 2020
It has been announced that the memorial of John Altobelli, his wife Keri Altobelli and their daughter Alyssa Albotelli, will be held on 10th February at Angel Stadium in Anahelm California. It is expected that a public memorial and rememberance will soon be taking place for Kobe and his daughter Gianna, and other memorials likely for the other victims also.

Fans mourning Lakers NBA Legend and Icon Kobe Bryant left many kind gifts and token gestures in a tribute to honour and pay their respects to Kobe, it was declared on Twitter by Zeidman that more than 1,300 basketballs were left outside the Staples Center, also 25,000 candles, 5000 signs and letters, 500 stuffed animals, 350 pairs of shoes and 14 banners. The Workers were drafted in to remove thousands of these items from outside Kobe Bryant’s Los Angeles home, X-Box Plaza across Chick hearn Court from The Staples Center and outside Mamba Sports Academy

When Vanessa first heard the news about the helicopter crash, losing her husband Kobe and daughter Gianna at the same time, alongside the other victims that she most likely knew also, we couldn’t imagine how devastatingly crushing and heart breaking for her and the whole Bryant family and also their friends. MamboOnThree Foundation / Direct Donation For The Victim’s Families
At such a very strained and difficult time Vanessa has announced MambaOnThree Foundation, which is a fund that directs donations to the families of all the victims that died in the helicopter crash, alongside her husband and daughter on 26th January. On one of Vanessa’s posts on Instagram she announced that in conjunction with Kobe Bryant’s Youth Sports Charity, The Mambo Foundation, as part of Kobe and Gianna’s legacy. Vanessa posted this message on Instagram: “We ask that you grant us the respect and privacy we will need to navigate this new reality,” she wrote in her post.

Further Updates On Their Funeral, Memorial Service + Other Info KTTV reported that: Kobe Bryant’s death certificate listed his cause of death as “blunt trauma,” describing the “time interval between onset and death” as “rapid,” Kobe And Gianna Bryant Had A Private Funeral
The Funeral service where Kobe and Gianna were buried, it was at The Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar, Orange County California, it was a private service which was held 2 weeks after the helicopter crash.
A Public Memorial Service will be at the Staples Center on 24th February, the dates being very important because Kobe wore a No:24 Jersey most of the time through his career, and Gianna wore a No:2 jersey, so by combining February being the second of the month being February relating to Gianna, and the 24th date relating to Kobe, all the other 7 members of the crash will also be honoured at the memorial also. – John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester and Ara Zobayan.
The Public Memorial Service At Staples Center On 24th February
The Public Memorial A Celebration Of Life for NBA Icon Kobe and Gianna Bryant and as expected The Staple Center in Los Angeles was packed, Beyonce sang a beautiful rendition of Halo and a further two of her songs that were Gianna’s favourites, other performances were by Alicia Keys, Usher and Christina Aguilera. Leading the Tributes speeches was Vanessa Bryant, other speeches were from Shaquille O’neal, Michael Jordan, Jimmy Kimmel and some others, who all helped to turn a very sad and devastating event for NBA Icon Kobe and Gianna Bryant into an amazing Celebration Of Life, with TV coverage from Fox 11 and Entertainment Tonight will air the recap the same night, the event will also be aired on NBA TV and BET. – Rest In Peace Kobe And Gianna Bryant.
